A feature of OSX that is great is individual secure user accounts, it really comes into play when you plug in your iPod, all YOUR contact, calendar, notes, music, videos are downloaded exclusively to that iPod, your sister has her own account and her iPod and her account act exactly the same. This is great for individualism, each user has only what they want in their itunes library. Sometimes, one member of the family will rip the entire music collection into their iTunes for ease, and then want to give that music to his mum or dad or daughter. Today we’re going to look at how this can be done.
Googling for ’sharing your itunes music with your family’ gives https://www.apple.com/itunes/share/ as the first result, interestingly, the page were brought to exclaims ‘we don’t have anything here’, a sad beginning in our quest to share.
We take the fourth result from google, and it looks good: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2006/08/22/synchronize-itunes-libraries.html
