As revealed to friends last week, another great piece of engineering coming from Apples AirPort Express(which provides iTunes audio streaming to your hifi, plus printing server function) is the USB port which provides a source of power for your iPod video, simply plug into the Apple AirPort Express to charge your iPod. One caveat(and reason to buy the iPod Charger proper) is that while plugged into the airport express, the iPod can’t be used to play anything or used at all, and a second is that the screen stays on the whole time, an inefficient use of power, Tesla might say. So use the Apple AirPort Express by all means, but remember the two advantages provided by your official Apple USB Power Adapter.
